Jordan wants to decide early
The LSU coaching staff believes that they have found they next star forward to follow in the line of Tyrus Thomas, Brandon Bass and Glen "Big Baby" Davis.
Now for the tricky part: getting him to come to LSU.
Episcopal High School and Houston native DeAndre Jordan is very high on the LSU wish list for the 2007 recruiting class.
The 6-11, 240-pound power forward is a Rivals.com four-star player and is coming off of a junior season in which he averaged 16.5 points to go along with 14.0 rebounds and 7.0 blocks.
To-date, Jordan has official scholarship offers from Florida, Florida State, Indiana, LSU, Texas and Texas A&M.
"I heard from the LSU coaching staff the other day," Jordan said. "Coach Brady, Pierre and I just talked for a while and they told me how they would love for me to come to their university and how much of a good fit I would be."
