Reier's Review: Friday Quick Hits

TideSports.com *The Crimson Tide worked out in shoulder pads and helmets for the second day in a row. Thunderstorms in the area forced the team into the Hank Crisp Indoor facility for the first 45 minutes of practice before a break in the weather allowed the Tide to move outdoors for the remainder of the workout.
*From one-on-one drills to the team period, it was a day for the defense. Linebacker Terrence Jones got the team period started by stuffing Kenneth Darby on a toss sweep before cornerback Lionel Mitchell picked off quarterback John Parker Wilson in the left flat for what would have been a touchdown. Cornerbacks Ramzee Robinson and Eric Gray each had pass breakups.
*The offense suffered from Wilson's interception, dropped passes and a botched shotgun snap from center Antoine Caldwell.
