Bruins have brisk evening practice
Besides trying to break in a new quarterback, tight end, running back and a trio of linebackers, college football change the rules of the game to move it along faster. The evening practice (Monday August 14th) was fast just like the new clock. As always Karl Dorrell spent a few moments with the media after the evening practice.
Dorrell: "It was a brisk practice this afternoon (Monday August 14th). We were able to get some good work done, specializing in the two minute drill and some pressure situations where the offense has to check and get us in proper protection and things. Those periods went very well.
"We were practicing third down and that's always hard on the offense when you are not in full pads and you continue to work at it. I'm really pleased with the progress that everybody is making right now.
