Rebels work hard in scrimmage to close camp
Fall camp officially wrapped up for Ole Miss on Saturday afternoon as the Rebels completed a two-and-a-half hour scrimmage on the practice fields in Oxford.
In front of an estimated crowd of 1,500 Ole Miss completed a roughly 150 play workout.
There was one notable absence from the scrimmage in starting quarterback Brent Schaeffer. Although he didn't play Schaeffer was dressed in full pads and participated in the team's post-practice sprints.
"He's been practicing for a while now, we just kind of wanted to give him a break," head coach Ed Orgeron said after the scrimmage.
