TU gearing up for opener

InsideTulsaSports.com No one can say the University of Tulsa's football program is not blessed. On a Monday that started out with storm warnings that came true, the clouds broke in mid-afternoon, allowing the Golden Hurricane to sharpen its football skills on schedule.
Sharpen may be more than an adjective. Both Paul Smith and David Johnson looked sharp in seven-man drills against a skeleton defense. Smith hooked up with Donnie Johnson for a theoretical touchdown.
Johnson could well be the answer to the graduation of Landon Keopple.
