Insider Report: Under Pressure
Florida State completed a light 12-period workout on the practice fields Saturday morning. Instead of going through the normal practice routine, the first portion of morning session was devoted to all aspects of the kicking game. The second half was spent working on making the proper substitutions for the Miami game.
"Substituting has become a big must," head coach Bobby Bowden said. "In other words, if a guy gets hurts whoever his sub is doesn't see it that team will go out on the field with 10 guys because he didn't catch it. Before you know it you are wasting a timeout or getting a penalty for delay of game."
