Cane linebackers eye slowing No. 1 offense
Miami's linebackers will look to help stuff the Louisville rushing attack this weekend while also trying to aid in pressuring quarterback Brian Brohm.
"It's a good opportunity for our defense to go out and prove some things," middle linebacker Glenn Cook says. "We played alright against FSU, came out slow against FAMU."
The last time these teams played it was a shootout that UM won, 41-38.
Brohm, then a backup, got some action in the game, leading a scoring drive.
"They rattled us a little bit, came out doing some things we didn't adjust to," Cook says of that game. "Once we adjusted we did pretty well. This time it'll be about executing."
Of Brohm, Cook says, "He's a real accurate quarterback, makes good decisions. He always finds the open guy. If we leave someone open, he'll find him."
