Matt Nader forced to give up football
Texas Longhorn commitment Matt Nader, a blue-chip offensive line prospect out of Westlake that collapsed during his team's game last Friday, has had to give up the game of football.
Specialists have run a series of tests on Nader ever since the incident, and reports have indicated that Nader suffered a "legal arrhythmia" while sitting on the bench during Friday's contest against A&M Consolidated.
Although tests have come back normal and sources close to the situation have indicated that physicians still don't have a definitive answer on what caused the arrhythmia, Nader has decided to take the safe route and end his playing career.
