AU visit strengthens Slade's commitment
Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln defensive back Mike Slade committed to Auburn back in May, before ever stepping on campus. At the time, Slade had a special feeling about the AU program.
That feeling has only grown stronger after the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Slade saw his first game at Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturday, a 7-3 AU win over LSU.
Slade had an opportunity to visit with the Auburn coaches and players in the locker room after the game including true freshman linebacker Craig Stevens who signed with the Tigers out of Lincoln in February.
