Brohm coming back soon?
The No. 8-ranked Louisville Cardinals could get star quarterback Brian Brohm back sooner rather than later.
A junior Heisman candidate, Brohm tore the ulnar collateral ligament in his right thumb in the second half of Louisville's 31-7 win over Miami. Now just two weeks removed from major surgery, Brohm is making strong progress.

Brohm has missed a game and a half so far during his recovery and he was originally scheduled to be out of action until November 2, when the Cards face off against No. 4 West Virginia.
