Filling the void left by legendary players like Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush understandably grabbed a few more headlines than replacing the under utilized Tom Malone.

But the punter has been an important position thus far in 2006 and walk-on Greg Woidneck has stepped in and performed admirably.

Woidneck started off as a Pac-10 punter while at Arizona State, but left and went the JC route before joining the Trojans this fall.
