Kevin Brown looking forward to Notre Dame

BruinSportsReport.com Defensive tackle Kevin Brown quietly having a solid junior year after having to sit out the entire 2005 season with an ankle injury. He was one of the players who had a controversial call against him during the Oregon game. Brown not one to dwell in negativity just wants to back on the field and make things right.
BruinBlitz.com: What do you have to do against Notre Dame to bounce back into the winning column?
Brown: "We just have to make less mistakes and be penalty free. We can't have mental errors and do correct assignments and technique then we should do well."
BruinBlitz.com: Speaking of penalties you were called for roughing the kicker that helped Oregon continue a drive. It appeared that you blocked into him can you walk us through that sequence?
Brown: "I thought I was pushed in the back and I told the ref and he said it didn't matter
"
BruinBlitz.com: It doesn't matter?
Brown: "Yeah, I guess he thought I roughed the kicker. I mean I guess he thought I dove into him intentionally and it didn't matter because he (the ref) was protecting the punter.
