Neeses, S.C., defensive tackle William Brimfield has elected to open up his recruitment, in light of the uncertainty regarding the future of North Carolina's football program.

Brimfield was surprised with the news that John Bunting was leaving UNC after this season.

"It was kind of crazy to find out that he was leaving, but that was one of my main reasons for committing to North Carolina," said Brimfield.
