The big question that loomed during the week leading up to the Washington State game was how the UCLA Bruins would play after that heartbreaking loss to Notre Dame a week ago. During the week, the Bruins practiced like they were ready to bounce back with a vengeance. UCLA had a lot to play for because there was still an opportunity for the Bruins to have a very successful season.

After playing tough for the first half and taking a 15-14 lead, Halloween came early for the Bruins as the Rose Bowl became a house of horrors.
