Will Self turn focus to Reed?
For James Anderson, the wait is over. After narrowing his list of schools to Kansas and Oklahoma State, the 6-foot-5, 190-pound small forward from Junction City (AR) High School just gave the nod to Sean Sutton and the Cowboys. Jayhawk Slant has a complete update from Anderson's press conference.
Now that Anderson has given the nod to Oklahoma State, look for the Kansas coaching staff to evaluate a number of players from now until the spring period. Tyrel Reed, the 6-foot-3, 175-pound point guard from Burlington (KS) High School is one player in particular the staff will likely keep a close eye on.
As it stands right now, Reed, a four-star prospect, is being recruited by the likes of Georgia Tech, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Purdue, Stanford, Wake Forest and others.
