Smith is becoming a fixture in Huntington

HerdNation.com South Point (OH) dual-threat quarterback Chris Smith (6-foot-3, 220 pounds, 4.65 seconds) excited the Marshall staff when he decided to commit to the Thundering Herd in July. Smith, who chose Marshall over six other schools that had offered, has been returning to Huntington to take in Marshall's home games and is becoming a recognizable face in the crown at 'The Joan.' Colleges are still calling. Should Herd fans be concerned?
Smith has been impressed with Marshall's offense throughout the season.
