Reks rolls in senior year, bonds with Asack

Devils Illustrated Events in life often have a funny way of working out for the best.
Over the summer, returning sophomore and projected starting quarterback Zack Asack was suspended from Duke for a year following a plagiarism incident, which of course on the surface was about the worst thing that could happen to the Blue Devils in preseason.
But in hindsight, it may turn out to be a blessing not only for Asack, but also for his future teammate and current Westwood (Mass.) Xaverian Brothers star Eriks Reks.
Asack's year away from Duke has been spent back in Westwood, where he was a standout for Xaverian Brothers just a couple of years ago. Reks says spending time with Asack is going to greatly benefit both of them when they arrive in Durham for next season.
