Tide holds off Louisiana-Monroe, 75-61
The No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide survived their first real scare of the season defeating a pesky Louisiana-Monroe team that led the Tide by a point at halftime. The Tide prevailed 75-61 but struggled shooting the ball all night shooting just 40 percent from the field.
"It was a pretty good team," said senior Jermareo Davidson who finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds. "We had a hard time defending them in the first half but we stepped it up in the second half."
Davidson suffered through one of the tougher nights of his Tide career hitting on just 3 of 15 field goal attempts.
