With the narrow victory over a tough Washington State team in the rearview mirror, the top ranked Bruins now look towards a New Years Eve match-up with 14th ranked Washington, a team which has defeated them three consecutive times.

The Huskies come in off a tough double-OT loss across town on Thursday against USC in a game which saw UW execute very well on offense only to fall a little short in the end.

Looking at the numbers from the contest, one wonders how a team can go 13-for-26 from three-point range, out rebound its opponent and get 24 points from a dominant post player only to lose?
