Virginia is looking to land a standout combo guard in the class of 2008, and one player who is very high on the Cavaliers' wish list is Andre Jones. The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder from Suffolk (Va.) Nansemond River reached a milestone this week, as he recorded the 1,000th point of his high school career. As far as his recruitment goes, Jones continues to hear from numerous top programs, including UVa.

At this point, Virginia, Virginia Tech, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Georgetown and Connecticut have shown the most interest in Jones, and he said that George Mason had been coming on strong as of late.
