With the departure of Demetrice Morley for academic reasons, the safety position is a huge need in the Vols recruiting class which is why Nevin McKenzie's visit to Knoxville over the weekend was an important one for Tennessee. McKenzie is a 6-foot-2, 210 pound safety from Trinity Community College in Athens, Texas. McKenzie said he was impressed with the Vols, but has one more visit to take.

"The visit was nice," McKenzie said. "They made me feel real comfortable with everything like I was a part of the team."

McKenzie was hosted by defensive back Roshaun Fellows.
