You can break Arizona's 2006-07 team and season into two. Team number one, known for its starting lineup of five prolific scorers, is one of the best in the country with a 12-1 record. Team number two is a shadow of its former self, despite having one of the most talented lineups in the country, and is 1-4.

Arizona started off its season with a 12-1 record against the toughest schedule in the country. The Wildcats only loss was the season opener at Virginia and even in defeat, Arizona's offense couldn't be stopped, but the team ran into a Cavaliers squad that ambushed the UA in the opening of their brand new arena.
