UA gets back in winner's circle
While still dealing with being in the middle of a three-game losing streak, the Wildcats still managed to pull out a win against the Sun Devils by the score of 71-47.
Freshman Chase Budinger led the way with 21 points and 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season, even without sophomore sensation Marcus Williams on the court in Wednesday's game.
Some Wildcats fans have been debating who should come off the bench for this game and some had mentioned that Budinger should be on the bench. However, with the absence of Williams, a lot of credit must be given to Budinger, even with Hill filling in.
In the first half, Arizona jumped out to a 8-0 run with 16:55 left. ASU brought the score as close as 13-11 with 11:47 remaining in the half, even with Jordan Hill doing a great job defending Jeff Pendergraph.
At the 7:12 mark of the half, ASU held an 18-17 lead, but soon relinquished that to Arizona as Jawann McClellan hit a three-pointer to give Arizona a 29-23 lead.
