Big 12 Signing Day dream team
John Talman
Rivals.com Football Recruiting [rl] While there may have been a few conferences across the country that attracted more top prospects, the Big 12 certainly pulled in its fair share of talent.
Four of the conference's schools were rated among the top 30 recruiting classes in the country. Those included Texas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State. Many of the prospects that those four schools signed made the Big 12 Signing Day Dream Team.
Texas is certainly a school that has several players on the list. The Longhorns signed the nation's No. 5 rated recruiting class. Therefore, it's no surprise that five UT signees made this list. Those include five-star prospects Tray Allen and Curtis Brown.
Oklahoma and Nebraska battled it out for the No. 2 spot in the Big 12 team rankings. The Huskers and Sooners finished the year No. 13 and No. 14, respectively. Those teams had a combined six players on this list.
Oklahoma State did extremely well recruiting the state of Texas. The Cowboys landed prospects like Rivals100 receiver Dez Bryant and defensive end Richetti Jones.
