There are two ways to look at the last-minute change of commitment from four-star linebacker Travis Lewis, some may turn blame to coaches and recruiting services for flooding his phone to the point he says a decision was somewhat 'hurried'.

However, without those same recruiting sites, few would realize the San Antonio Lee product had made a decision and thus leave him on his own. It appears that Bob
Stoops and the Sooner coaches should thank that downtime as a reason for Lewis' change of heart.

"One of the reasons I made the choice was just to get it over with. At first it's fun at first talking to rivals' websites and all the coaches. It makes you feel great at first. I can remember when I was just a sophomore I never thought I would be recruited by so many teams in the big 12. But then it starts to wear on you," Lewis explained.
