Paying The Premium

WazzuWatch.com There was some amount of chicanery going on the last time the Oregon Ducks met the Washington State Cougars in a men's basketball game. Senior do-it-all Duck guard Aaron Brooks banked in a 40-footer late in the game, there was some creative play clock management and the Pac-10 officials were downright generous to the Ducks in the waning seconds of play. Oregon won 77-74 in overtime when Derrick Low missed a potential tying three-pointer and Robbie Cowgill's trey swished through a second too late. All of which caused Duck head men's hoop coach Ernie Kent to come to one conclusion.
