The last time Adarius Bowman touched a football, it was in Oklahoma State's victory against Alabama in the Independence Bowl.
Since then, the All-Big 12 receiver had been moonlighting with the Cowboy basketball team, but after OSU's season on the hardwood ended Tuesday night, Bowman wasted little time before returning to the turf.
"I just missed those guys," Bowman said after Wednesday's practice - his first of the spring season. "Basically I just came out in the frame of mind that I'm out here to catch up with everyone else because I'm behind and trying to pick up on all the new signals we've got."
Still, Bowman said the opportunity to play for the basketball team is one he will always remember.
"I love that experience I just went through," Bowman said. "Not too many athletes can say they did that, so I'm glad to a part of it."
