Pledge to Michigan a relief for O'Neill
After watching top prospect after top prospect choose out of state schools in the class of 2007, Michigan has jumped out to a tremendous start in the class of 2008 of keeping top local talent at home. The commitment of Grand Haven (Mich.) offensive tackle Dann O'Neill gives the Wolverines two of the top prospects in the state for next year.
The 6-7, 290-pound O'Neill was in Ann Arbor Saturday to see Michigan's first spring practice of the year. He made his decision to be a Wolverine while on campus.
