Coach: O'Neill will be a force at U-M
With a former player currently on the Michigan football roster and having worked the Wolverines' summer football camp each of the past seven years, Grand Haven (Mich.) head coach Mike Farley knows what it takes to succeed at that school. That is why Farley's prediction of great success at Michigan for his star offensive tackle, Dann O'Neill, speaks volumes.
The 6-7, 290-pound O'Neill made a commitment to Michigan this past weekend over offers from the likes of Purdue, Nebraska, UCLA and Florida State. When those offers started coming in, O'Neill was in the midst of wrestling season and wanted to finish that before focusing on recruiting, but his decision came right on the heels of a seventh place finish in the state meet.
