Wildcats pleased with first scrimmage
Arizona's spring practice hit its halfway point on Saturday and the Wildcats took the day to show off their new offense in an open scrimmage at Arizona Stadium.
If the scrimmage was any indication, there is plenty to be excited about for Arizona fans hoping to see some offensive production in a program that for so long has been known for its defensive reputation.
While offensive coordinator Sonny Dykes has only had two weeks of field time to implement his new scheme, there's some definite progress being made. In fact, the UA offense was very impressive at times on Saturday and for the day racked up 492 yards, along with two touchdowns and a couple field goals.
