UGASports Video: Tyson talks UGA
The Bulldogs are off to a blazing start in 2008 as they have landed many big time commitments from players across the South. One of Georgia's top Dawgs in the class of 2008 is in-state defensive tackle DeAngelo Tyson. Tyson is a Rivals Junior All-American and he had many high profile offers to choose from before deciding to stay home. UGASports.com caught with Tyson for an exclusive interview and he talks about UGA, his commitment, and more right here.
Tyson was being recruited by most schools in the country as Statesboro Head Coach Steve Pennington fielded calls regularly from Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Southern Cal, and other national programs.
Many offers were on the table for Tyson, but he decided to stay home and play for the Georgia Bulldogs.
We traveled down to Statesboro recently to visit with Tyson and he took the time to talk with us about his commitment.
