Shayne Hale may have scholarship offers from nearly every elite program in country, but it's the one from a school out west that the 225-pound outside linebacker covets most.

The all-conference, all-state, Post-Gazette Fab 22 and Rivals100 selection is anticipating a trip to Troy.

However, a scholarship offer from USC is noticeably absent from his stack of more than 30.

Without any family or friend connections to USC, it would seem like a challenge to get Hale to travel over 3000 miles for school. However, he believes he's ready for a new challenge.
