Bob Huggins swept into southern Maryland Friday and won the "second commitment" of 2007 signee John Flowers to the West Virginia basketball program.

Flowers, 6-foot-7, 190 pounds, thus far is the only signee WVU basketball has taken going in the signing period which started last week.

Former coach John Beilein signed the Washington Post All-Met forward last November, but with the coaching change from Beilein to Huggins two weeks ago, questions concerned whether the double-double averaging front line player would make good on his contract.
