Coaches quite vocal on Day 10

Thank god the weather wasn't that crazy today, but wow, what a frustrating practice for the coaches. I haven't been to every practice, but it was definitely the most stressful one that I have been to this spring. A lot of the yelling from the coaching staff came on the defensive end, which surprised me since they played pretty well in the first scrimmage last Saturday. Guess there is more to work to do before the spring game next week when the big crowd will be on hand. Despite all the negativity I've thrown at you so far, there were some positives out of this practice:
-When I first got there, the quarterbacks struggled in the drills, having a hard time completing passes with no coverage on them. Not a good thing obviously, but they looked better as the practice went on. Sean Canfield throws such a nice ball; a great spiral on his passes. He stumbled on one play and still managed to throw a nice pass to Sammie Stroughter. Lyle Moevao didn't look very consistent today, but before I can say he is going to be the second string quarterback, he makes some amazing throws, which he did again today. A slant pass across the middle to Anthony Brown was picture perfect, which got the 5-11 scrapper excited. He also threw a nice deep pass to Shane Morales, who made a nice over-the-shoulder grab and managed to keep his feet in at the same time. The offense did the no-huddle offense again at the end of practice with Canfield and Moevao both looking pretty confident.
-No sign of Yvenson Bernard again today in practice. Obviously, he is the starter but I'm surprised he wasn't even working out again. Clinton Polk got a lot of work in, but fumbled on a draw play that was returned for a score. Hopefully that's not too big of a concern. Tony Carrasco also got a lot of time today, and he can be a tough guy to tackle. They also practiced plays with running backs throwing the ball, although none of them looked very impressive from a quarterback perspective.
