USC gets No. 2 for 09

USCFootball.com Earlier this month, the Trojans got a jumpstart on next year's recruiting crop with the commitment of Compton (Calif.) Dominguez linebacker Marquis Simmons.
While Simmons stood on the sidelines to watch Saturday's Skills Camp at USC, another top sophomore displayed his talents for the Trojans' coaching staff. Different recruit, same results.
At 6-foot-4, 210-pounds, Morrell Presley first caught the eye of college football scouts with 29 receptions and 368 yards for two scores. Modest numbers, but after attending USC's Skills Camp Saturday, Presley walked off the field recognized as much more than just a potential recruit.
