Teams still after VU commit Richard Cagle

VandySports.com In mid-March, the Vanderbilt coaching staff secured it's first verbal commitment of the year from Houston (Texas) offensive lineman Richard Cagle of St.Pius X. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound standout chose to verbal to the school after taking an unofficial visit to the Nashville campus.
But though Cagle committed to the Commodores, it hasn't stopped other programs from trying to recruit the "bubble" offensive tackle/guard.
"Richard still gets a stack of letters every day," Richard's father told VandySports.com. "Quite a few schools came to check Richard out before school let out. He received a written offer from Iowa State Nebraska and Northwestern has texted as well as mailed him. He received a phone call from Princeton. And the number of letters from SEC teams like Florida, LSU and Arkansas has increased while those of Ole Miss and Mississippi State have dimished somewhat since Richard announced his decision for Vandy.
"Vandy has been very good at staying in touch and protecting their investment."
