One-on-one with Jawann McClellan
The 2005-2007 seasons proved to be a roller coaster ride for Jawann McClellan. The senior forward battled both personal issues and injuries and is now in the process of returning back to the player he was his freshman season.
Arizona fans want to know where McClellan is health wise and what he plans on accomplishing this upcoming season. GOAZCATS.com caught up with the Houston native to help answer these questions and more.
GOAZCATS.com: Can you refresh the memory of our readers and reiterate what happened to your knees?
Jawann McClellan: I woke up one morning and my knee was just swollen, and it just so happened that bone was rubbing on bone. I was missing cartilage from between the bones so what they did was take some cartilage and put it back in there which is the same surgery that Amare Stoudemire had in which he took a year off for and I am only taking four months. It's a big difference between a year and four months so hopefully I can get back to the way that I was.
