Dawgs bolster their offensive line
For the first time in several years under head coach Mark Richt, the Georgia Bulldogs have extensive depth on the offensive line. Heading into fall camp in a few weeks, the Bulldogs will have 14 healthy linemen compared to the mere nine that were healthy at the end of last season. Here is a look at who is coming back.
After losing several linemen in fall camp last year, the Bulldogs ended up trying to move defensive tackle Dale Dixson to the offensive side of the ball to create some depth. Injuries and suspensions ravaged that 2006 line and the coaches vowed never to be in that position again. To change things in 2007, the Bulldogs signed eight offensive linemen, all with different levels of experience to rebuild their line.
