Walker's visit to ND better than expected
Earlier this week, Deion Walker began a Midwest tour that would include stops at Michigan, Notre Dame and Nebraska. Monday, the 6-foot-4, 186-pound five-star receiver from Christchurch, Va., stopped in Ann Arbor and Tuesday he was in South Bend. The trip ended on Wednesday at Nebraska.
Now, Walker will return home and contemplate the big decision that is ahead of him.
"I saw a lot," he said. "I still haven't seen Southern Cal, and I want to see them before I make my decision. I'm going to narrow things down and take an official out there."
Walker isn't sure about the other schools that will be included in his five official visits, but Notre Dame didn't hurt its chances of staying in contention for his services.
"The visit was really good," he said.
