Kimbrough makes speedy comeback from ACL tear
Nate Kimbrough wants you to know he will be alright. In fact, he wants the world to know, just how close to 100 percent he really is.
"I'm trying to get out of that mode," he said Monday, after his best two practices of camp. "I'm trying to get it out of everybody's head that I'm hurt or that I was injured."
Eight months removed from tearing his ACL after the first series of a road game at Oregon St., Kimbrough is beginning to feel like his old "Nasty Nate"-self.
The hard-working junior wide receiver, worked out as much as four times a day before summer and spring ball, with the hopes of strengthening his knee as well as rekindling his on-field bond with quarterback Rudy Carpenter.
