Dawgs get a boost upfront
The Georgia Bulldogs practiced twice on Wednesday in better conditions than last week. Head Coach Mark Richt enjoyed the day's activities, which were highlighted by a couple of nice plays at the end of practice. The Bulldogs also got a boost from their offensive line when starters Scott Haverkamp and Chester Adams returned to practice full speed for the entirety of the practice.
Starting sophomore quarterback Matthew Stafford connected with sophomore receiver Mike Moore for a long touchdown with less than 12 seconds left in the one-minute drill. Backup quarterback Joe Cox better Stafford connecting with Mikey Henderson on an even longer touchdown pass shortly after that. Cox has played so well that he may see action in game one of the season according to Richt.
