Gators host another Miami commitment
The football recruiting process is a marathon, not a sprint. In an interview with GatorBait.net, University of Florida Director of Football Operations Troy Starr reiterated that point by saying that there are prospects who are currently committed to other programs who would not be signing with those programs. With that in mind, for the second time in two weeks the Gators hosted a Miami Hurricane commitment on an unofficial visit.
Last week it was Melbourne (Fla.) Palm Bay athlete Ramon Buchanon - this week it was Dunnellon (Fla.) four-star linebacker Lerentee McCray.
Living 45 minutes outside of Gainesville, The 6-foot-2, 200-pound, Rivals250 member is certainly no stranger to Florida football.
Just because he's committed to the Hurricanes, that doesn't stop competing programs from making their sales pitch to him.
