Tiller anxious for his Iowa State visit
The Cyclones may have started the season at 1-3, but according to Iowa State quarterback commit Jerome Tiller out of San Antonio (Tex.) Lee, the future in Ames is very bright.
"I'm just really impressed with Coach Chizik." Tiller said. "He did a lot at Texas and that says a lot. He knows exactly what he's doing in regards to turning things around. It's just a matter of time." Tiller, a 6-foot-3 inch, 184-pound dual threat quarterback, will take his official visit to Iowa State on October 19th for the Oklahoma game (on Oct. 20).
"I'll be coming by myself and it's my first trip to Ames so I'm really excited," said Tiller. "I want to see what the experience is like in regards to the campus, the game, meeting my future teammates, talking with the coaches, and checking out the facilities."
