UA impressive in overtime loss
Darrell Arthur scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds in leading Kansas to a 76-72 overtime victory over Arizona in Lawrence on Sunday.
Chase Budinger had a season-high 27 points and six rebounds for the Wildcats in the tough loss.
Though Budinger scored the first four points of the game, Kansas roared back with a 13-0 run to go up 13-4 at the 13:52 mark of the half.
Arthur's hook shot kept the pedal to the metal and pushed it to a 19-5 run, putting his Jayhawks up 20-9 with help from eight UA turnovers within the first ten minutes.
Budinger proceeded to shoulder the load in the first half for the Wildcats with a pair of three-pointers, bringing the score within two at 26-24 with 5:33 left in the half.
