Garden experience will prove profitable
The Orange didn't leave Madison Square Garden as the pre-season NIT champions, but they can take some consolation in the fact that they didn't finish last.
Syracuse beat Washington Friday afternoon, 91-85, to bounce back from a 79-65 defeat at the hands of Ohio State on Wednesday night. The Orange finally revealed their inexperience in losing their first game to the Buckeyes but they displayed some resilience in beating the Huskies.
With such a young team, fans learn something new every time they watch the Orange play.
