Business as usual for Rice
The entire scarlet nation will be watching with baited breath every time Ray Rice touches the ball in the International Bowl. Each touch could wind up being the very last time Rutgers' all time leading rusher carries the ball while wearing scarlet. A decision whether or not to enter the NFL draft won't come until after the bowl game, and up until that time, it'll be business as usual for Rice.
"Any opportunity to play in a bowl game is fun," said Rice. "But going to Canada is a place I've never been, and I'm sure a lot of my teammates have never been either. We're really looking forward to going there for our third straight bowl game."
Bowl games are nothing new to Rice as he has been to a post season contest in all three of his years at Rutgers.
"Last year during our bowl game, our team was so focused. It was the first bowl win for our school and it took a long time. It was real special for me because I wanted to send our senior class out the right way. Being bowl MVP was special for me, but to send a guy like Brian Leonard out with a win was an honor for me."
