Strafford OL picks up first offer
In football, one easy way to improve your wins and losses is by improving your offensive line. Often, when prospects are signed, size can be an issue. However, for Strafford (MO) lineman Tyler Evans, size would probably not be a problem. Evans' coach Tim Hester said it was always easy to spot Evans on the field.
Evans recently picked up his first offer in recruiting from the Missouri Tigers. Hester said that although the Tigers were the first to offer, they were far from the only school that had noticed Evans.
Hester admitted that Strafford was not the most well known place to find division one linemen, but said that Evans was worth the attention. He said that it was impressive to watch Evans continue to get better.
Hester said that Evans had only just begun the recruiting process, but he had plans to make it to a few camps this summer. He added that it would be a way for Evans to start understanding where he wanted to look in recruiting.
