Different view for Savage this spring
Aairon Savage has been a cornerback for less than a month. His sum total of experience at the position is two spring practices.
So yes, it's early.
But so far, Savage, defensive coordinator Paul Rhoads and Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville all like the results of the junior's position switch.
Savage started a combined 13 games at safety in 2006 and 2007 but has moved to cornerback this spring. The position isn't totally unfamiliar: He played some cornerback in high school and practiced at the position as a true freshman in 2005.
