Little never lost hope on Monday
Mario Little, the No. 1 ranked junior college prospect in the class of 2008, never lost hope. Despite facing a nine-point deficit with a little more than two minutes remaining in the game, Little still believed Kansas had enough left in the tank to stuff Memphis. As it turned out, the Jayhawks, behind a late run, did in-fact stun the Tigers, 78-65, in overtime. Little spoke to Jayhawk Slant about the game and when he plans to arrive in Lawrence.
Much like his future teammates, Little, the 6-foot-5, 210-pound shooting guard from Chipola Junior College in Marianna, Fla., had the highest of expectations of winning his own title with his current teammates.
