Linebacker Jerod Askew from Oscar Smith High in Chesapeake, Va., is developing into one of the more heavily recruited prospects from the Tidewater area in that state. Askew, who measured, 6-foot-1, 230 pounds at Rivals.com's Five-Star Academy, has NC State among his seven offers.
